Exceptionally cushiony and soft, Happy Lamb Fleece is a wonderful alternative to traditional sheepskin. Premium eco wool is woven into a backing of 100% natural cotton knit. The result is a plush, flexible fleece that has the look and feel of sheepskin without the stiffness, weight, or chemicals of the tanned hide. You can feel good about settling your little one down for nap time on this healthy, all-natural sleep surface. It'll keep them warm in the winter and cool in summer. With our On the Go and Bassinet/Stroller options, baby will be cozy wherever you go. Happy Lamb Fleece is approximately 1" deep and weight is 33 oz per square yard. Recommended for infants over 3 months of age.

This product ships in a sturdy cardboard box secured with paper tape. We don't use plastic wrap or synthetic packing materials in the box. If you'd like a little extra protection, you can request your product be placed inside a biodegradable bag before boxing.
Care
Happy Lamb undergoes a natural felting process within the first 6-8 months of consistent use, during which time the fleece takes on a slightly matted appearance. Spot clean and sun during this time to refresh. After the initial break-in period, Happy Lamb Fleece can be machine washed in cold water. Manually set to soak and spin cycles only. Do not use the wash cycle, which agitates and can ruin your Happy Lamb. For stained items, add a dose of live cultured enzymes (try Bac-Out by Biokleen) during soak. Drape in the sun or warm place to dry. Do not wring or machine dry.
The scent of wool - Our wool, both natural and organic, is cleaned and processed naturally without the use of harsh chemicals. That's why you may notice the mild sweet scent of sunny farm pastures when you receive your new wool product. The wool retains 1% of the naturally occurring lanolin oil, which helps condition the fibers and keep them fluffy and soft for years to come. Most customers find the scent dissipates within a few days.
