Puf de lana

I searched high and low for a pouf made of natural, sustainable, and organic materials that is made in the USA...Holy Lamb Organics Wool Pouf was the ONLY one that I came across! And I was beyond pleased when I received the pouf by mail - it is so comfy and looks beautiful in my living room. Am hoping that the company will consider making washable covers for them someday since my pouf is sure to get lots of wear. 🙂

I bought this when I was deep into frantic efforts to recover from a ruinous soft tissue injury to my heel--I needed soft things to park my foot on. While this pouf did not work well for me for that purpose (and in fact nothing helped so it's not the pouf's fault) what this pouf has become is the most coveted foot-of-the-bed nest for my small and elderly dogs (schipperkes). Even when they hang over the side like Dali-dogs it is clear that this pouf is very comfortable. The dogs really like the slump of the structure, and Yes, it is a stupid expensive dog bed, but by now we are up to three years of neglectful mismanagement of the pouf and what--it's got dog hair on it. Otherwise it is as sturdy and functional as the day it exited the box. It weighs a relative-to-other-pillows ton and stays where you put it. My only beef is that I would have really liked a cover for the pouf.
