Supportive yet soft, you’ll rest easy on our handmade wool bed pillows.
We hand make this wool pillow with Premium Eco Wool batting and cover it with a smooth organic cotton Sateen fabric.
Pillows are smooth, soft and available in 3 different thicknesses to suit your comfort level: Light Fill, Regular Fill & Extra Thick (in standard size only). We also make Queen, King and travel size pillows in Regular Fill.
Please know that your wool pillow will be very fluffy upon arrival, but will settle over time with the weight and heat of your head. This will not change the support and comfort this pillow provides. This pillow type may settle between approximately 15-30%.For children, we recommend the Light Fill. The regular fill is our most popular thickness. We also recommend protecting your pillow with a Zippered Pillow Cover sold separately.

Why Is Wool Bedding So Great?
Natural wool is a timeless option for bedding. Here's why.
Wool's inherent breathability and moisture-wicking properties help regulate body temperature, keeping you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
Wool is all natural, surpassing synthetic fill in terms of quality and durability.
Dust Mite Resistant
Wool is a great choice if dust mites concern you. Wool fibers wick away moisture, creating a low-humidity microclimate inhospitable to dust mites.
Anti-Microbial and Anti-Bacterial
Wool resists bacteria and is both antimicrobial and antibacterial.
Naturally Fire Resistant
Wool is inherently fire resistant, providing a safe sleep environment without the need for chemical additives.
Sheep grow a new coat of wool every year and are not harmed during shearing. It’s like getting a haircut.
Supports Small Ranches And Ranchers
Wool is a sustainable product and helps small ranchers make a living.
Sustainable And Lasting
With proper care, your wool bedding can last for decades.
Stays In Place
Wool batting comes off the roll in one continuous piece and when hand-tufted into your topper or comforter will stay securely in place. No shifting over time and no bare spots.
Certifications & Testing
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognized as the world's leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibers. It defines high-level environmental criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain and requires compliance with social criteria as well.
Holy Lamb Organics' production facilities are GOTS Certified. Read the full story of our GOTS certification.
Green America - Gold Certified Business since 2007
Green America is a national, nonprofit founded in 1982 (known as Co-op America until 2009). America's Green Business Certification ensures companies operate according to a values-based social enterprise according to principles of social justice and environmental sustainability. In addition, certified businesses must be environmentally responsible in the way they run their operations and facilities, and in how they source raw materials, manufacture products, and market them. The Gold certification is completed by the Green America Standards Committee through an independent review.
Holy Lamb Organics holds the Gold Certification
The IOAS is a nonprofit certification organization dedicated to the integrity of eco-label claims in the field of organic and sustainable agriculture, environmental management, social justice and fair trade. They work internationally to assess the competence of organizations providing certification to sustainability standards, meaning producers can work in a fair environment and consumers can trust the products bearing these labels and the company's contribution to a more sustainable and fairer world. IAOS's role is as an independent technical expert. It verifies the correct application of the standard and the requirements for certification.
All cotton used at Holy Lamb Organics is IOAS certified.
Eco Wool is produced to the highest standards on local American farms; some of these standards are beyond those specified for organic materials. Eco Wool is not certified organic. At this time very little organic wool is available on the market; almost no organic wool is grown in the United States.
We have access to organic wool from New Zealand that is pure and clean, though due to it being only one type of wool, it doesn’t offer the kind of resilience or bounce that our Premium Eco Wool does. Our Eco Wool is a blend of about 7 different types of wool varying from fine to coarse in order to create the most ideal wool fiber for use in bedding.
Our natural wool is Premium Eco Wool.
Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Certified
An independent nonprofit, membership-led organization that sets standards under which forests and companies are certified. Their membership consists of three equally weighted chambers; environmental, economic, and social. The FSC's mission is to promote environmentally sound, socially beneficial and economically prosperous management of the world's forests through a certification process that involves 10 principles and 57 criteria that apply to FSC-Certified forests around the world. FSC operates in more than 80 countries, wherever forests are present.

UC Davis Toxicology Lab Tested
All wool used in our products is tested for heavy metals through fiber sample analysis. The official report indicates: "No toxic compounds were detected . . . Growers and ranchers raise sheep relative to organic standards (do not use herbicides, pesticides or growth hormones)." Though not required by law, our mill has their wool periodically tested.
Element Materials Technology Tested
All materials at Holy Lamb Organics that have a next-to-skin use are run through a voluntary Phthalates test (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act CPSIA of 2008). This test is required by law and provides an extra assurance of quality and safety. All toppers and mattresses are required to meet cigarette burn test 1633. Verification is printed on all of our sewn-in product labels: "This Product Complies with the Federal Flammability Standard 16 CFR part 1632".

I love my wool pillow. It’s just the right density. My husband didn’t understand why I wanted to replace my cheap polyester pillow. However, he’s been stealing my new wool pillow every night!
