 SUSTAINABLE BED FRAMES

Importance of a supportive bedframe: A proper bed frame will give the mattress and your body the support it needs. It is not only important for your body's alignment, but also important in terms of your mattress warranty which can be voided if you are not using a frame that provides the proper support. The frame we offer (below) is manufactured to ideal specs with both support and breathability for your mattress in mind.
No matter which bed frame you choose, make sure it has the proper support.

Proper Airflow: A slatted bed frame lifts your mattress off the ground providing the proper air flow to the bottom side of the mattress. We do not recommend placing a bed on the floor or on a solid platform bed frame which will not provide enough airflow and allow moisture to become trapped.

Two Frame Heights: Choose our standard frame height of 18" from the floor to the top of the frame. Also available in our low-frame height of 8.5" from the floor to the top of the frame. This is a great option for those who prefer their bed closer to the ground and is a great choice for children. The low-frame also allows you to accomodate a box spring or wood foundation if desired.

Selectively Harvested & Handcrafted: The California Beauty Bed Frame is made in the U.S.A. by a West Coast craftsman builder known for his quality. It is made from selectively harvested timber from Oregon forests.

Wood Finish: The frames are finished with an AMF Safecoat brand Polyureseal BP water based finish. For more information on this finish or to request a sample click here.
